Nostradamus’ chilling 2026 prediction resurfaces after Trump kidnaps Venezuelan president

There has been a whole host of terrifying predictions over the years, and Trump’s latest action has got people fearing another will come true.

The likes of Nostradamus, Baba Vanga, and Nicolas Aujula have all shared prophecies, many of which have come true.

Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro has been kidnapped by the Trump administration, and is set to appear in court in New York today (Monday, January 5).

Trump ordered US forces to capture Maduro on Saturday, as well as his wife Cilia Flores, and is holding them on charges of ‘narco-terrorism’.

Following his seizure and arrest, many have recalled a prediction by Nostradamus which many fear will now come true following this latest action by Trump.

Nostradamus, whose real name was Michel de Nostredame, was a French astrologer and psychic who died in 1566.

He made many, many predictions, including one many thought was wildly far-fetched… until now.

He wrote a text called Les Propheties, featuring a whopping 942 predictions.

Nostradamus wrote them in coded poems in different languages, leading many to think some had been misunderstood or open to interpretation.

One worried person wrote on X: “Back in the late 80s, I read what is considered a misinterpreted Nostradamus prediction for ww3.”

They said it ‘was basically a country in the West will have the village idiot as their leader and a man with a blue hat will be the reason for another world war. Doesn’t seem misinterpreted anymore,” they insisted.

Someone else added: “Remembered that Nostradamus predicted ww3 for 2026.”

Another Tweeted: “Uh-oh, could this start a war? Feels like WW3 waiting to happen.”

The prediction features the writing: “Seven months great war, people dead through evil / Rouen, Evreux the King will not fail.”

History buffs are linking it to the ongoing issues with Russia and Ukraine, but fear this new action against Venezuela will cause everything to kick off.

Many are reading it to mean World War III, as Trump has made references to war if needed.

However, he has also made several attempts at brokering peace between other countries and had been hoping to receive the peace prize.

It’s worth noting though that the words ‘Rouen’ and ‘Evreux’ are rooted in 16th century French geography, which is giving hope that it won’t relate to the US and Venezuela on this occasion.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens in 2026, but it’s worth noting not all predictions have come true.
